A geometric baluster-form iron handle can be seen under the window, rising from a shaped entablature adorned with three tassels on each side. Beneath the handle is a tas de sable carvings encircled by several layers of molding. At the base of each door is a fluted kickplate set within a rectangular border. Most of the original hardware is still present, including large door straps and a locking bolt seen on the back of the doors. The right door has a charming knocker in the form of a fist gripping a ball. At over eight feet tall, our carved wood and iron doors would make fantastic interior doors to a wine room or salon.
