A truly stunning piece, this type of furniture is just about as ornate as you will see anywhere in the world, intricately hand carved from head to toe, to have a chair of this nature made today would costs tens of thousands
This is a good early one, you can see the hand saw marks on the inside of the frame, Rosewood is a very hard wood so it makes for great highly detailed pieces
The chair has been restored to include having the frame secured, its then been cleaned waxed and polished. I wouldn’t recommend using it as an actual chair, the back feels way to high for that

Condition:
Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition
Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
