Whimsical and rare round center table designed by Fendi Casa. The table features a round top supported by a tripod base with ballet legs and feet. The swan table is fully upholstered with hand-stitched faux shagreen dark grey leather. Beautifully constructed with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The graceful table has a distinctive profile from all sides with a Fendi plaque on one leg. The wood and metal frame has an order tag on bottom. From an estate in Hollywood, CA. The top of the table measures 26.75 inches high.

A superb gilt bronze table featuring a lapis lazuli top. The striking contrast between the fire gilding with its mustard yellow and the deep blue of the lapis is something to see. The legs depicting maiden’s heads and lion’s paws are of top quality as well as the central part joining the legs ornated with an urn. A rare find.

Italian Micro Mosaic and Specimen Marble-Top Centre Table

A Neoclassical pietra dura, micro mosaic and walnut centre table, the circular black marble top with a large central micro mosaic roundel depicting St Peter’s Square, Rome, surrounded by eight smaller oval and circular vignettes of roman ruins, within a band of hexagonal beads strung on lapis lazuli links and an outer specimen border of semi-precious agates and marbles including Blue John, all with malachite borders, set on a parcel gilt base with a frieze of stars, acanthus buds and rosettes raised four male terms of Hercules wearing the skin of the Nemean Lion, joined with a cruciform stretcher and terminating in cloven hoof feet. Italian, 1870.

19th Century French Louis XV Gilded Center Table

19th century French Louis XV gilded center table is a splendid example of Belle Epoque timeless style! Crafted in a graceful violin shape, its contoured and beveled top rests upon a scrolled apron that is finely molded and trimmed with a French border that has a more glossy appearance than the surrounding matte finish. The top is supported by four boldly scrolled and carved cabriole legs. The carvings depict shell and bell flower motifs, and lead the eye down to the upturned acanthus plumes on the feet tipped with casters, and connected by scrolled stretchers that meet at the center joined to a turned finial.
As of this writing, a matching canape and four side chairs from the set are still available.
