This is an old Imari beauty. It was a 13” high urn wired to be a lamp at some point in its history. It stands on an antique brass/bronze base. The embossing on all 4 sides sets this piece apart from other antique Imari items.

Vintage 1980’s Post Modern table lamp for sale. Manufactured by Casual Lamps in 1984, and made in California. It’s in excellent condition with no chips or cracks to the lamp. It’s made of ceramic with a beautiful glaze, The colors are outstanding and are a soft pink and teal with a white undertone. It has a solid oak wood neck in a pinkish finish. It still has the original round solid wood finial. The classic dome linen lamp shade is not included and is just for reference. The lamp is still in great working order. Beautiful lamp to decorate.

Condition:

Very good vintage/antique condition. The shade has a few minor scuffs on top, likely from occasionally being placed on a table upside down when changing the bulb. There appear to be no chips or cracks. There are several tiny bubbles in the glass. The underside of the base has some normal signs of wear. There are also very small bubbles to be seen in the base on close inspection. The 30 U drop prism lusters have all been removed to pack safely and they appear to have no chips. There are several extra lusters and pieces (likely replaced), most of which have chips. The lamp may have been rewired and appears to be in good working order. Otherwise, normal wear for age. At a distance, the nuanced color of this pair reads black, however, upon further investigation they are brown. My research shows this to be a particular glaze, known as “mirror black” in Chinese culture. These mid century vessels have been newly converted with brown wood vase caps, and bases with brushed brass hardware. Each has a three-way socket and new black cords.
