A good quality C19th Chinese reverse painting on glass of large size, brightly coloured with depicting dignitaries, ladies and attendants in a courtyard with a building to the left and rural mountain scene beyond. With moulded wood frame and ornate bronze hanging brackets to the top. In very good condition. 67cm high including hanging brackets. Provenance; from a private collecting of Anthony McGreevy and purchased from Christie’s on 23/03/1987. Circa 1880
