Vintage Design
Iconic table lamp, model TC6, designed by Aldo van den Nieuwelaar in 1968.
This lamp is from the first edition and manufactured by Artimeta, who was the first producer of this lamp. Only 148 pieces were made by Artimeta, which makes this one very rare.
Fantastic lamp! A masterpiece in minimalism.
A square and a circle, nothing more nothing less. The square is made of white lacquered metal and the size of it is determined by the standard size of a circular fluorescent tube.
This lamp is also part of the collection of the MoMa in New York and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam among others.
The lamp is in excellent original condition, minimal traces of use.
