Vintage Design
– An incredibly rare run of Holophane ‘Hedralite’ flush mounted ceiling lanterns, English circa 1920.
– The lights originally hung under a false ceiling in a Mappin & Webb silver and fine jewellery store in London, England and for that reason have been immaculately preserved.
– The rectangular brass cages house eight individual sections of prismatic glass plates which are all stamped ‘Holophane PS.99’ ‘Hedralite. Pat No. 347.387’. The cages can each be dismantled down into individual pieces, each piece stamped with a model number, wonderful detail.
– These lanterns are heavy pieces of incredible quality, scarce examples.
