Superb Empire cassolette in bronze with double patina, mounted in lamp and resting on a brocatelle marble of Siena.
This cassolette is provided with an urn surrounded by a shaped bronze disc, carved with palmettes, resting on three long feet representing griffins in the upper part and “claw” feet in the lower part. The urn is nestled in a sculpture representing an inverted pine cone accompanied by large fluttering palmettes. The whole rests on a base and a triangular marble with concave sides.
