English pine two drawer table in England, they refer to this as ”pitch pine”, here we call it ”heart pine”, by whatever term, it is beautiful wood with bold color and grain. The top has a gallery around the sides and back, two drawers with solid brass ball knobs. The turned legs taper with interesting shapes. This table could be used in several capacities, there is leg room(23.75” from the floor to the apron) and proper height as a writing table, in a hall as a console, or as a serving table; exposed peg construction.
