A very fine quality antique French Louis XV kingwood, marquetry & ormolu serpentine/bombe shaped vitrine cabinet, circa 1880.
The cabinet having finely cast bronze mounts and brackets to the top, with a single door having serpentine shaped glass enclosing three glass shelves, the interior is lined with the original green velvet and having bowed glass panels to the sides. The base of the door having geometric marquetry and a bronze flowering urn, both sides have corresponding marquetry with bronze flowering baskets. The cabinet is raised on cabriole legs with bronze mounts and bronze sabots to the feet, the quality and condition of this cabinet is excellent and is ready to grace your home!
