This is a superb and frankly amazing vitrine or china cabinet in the manner of the French cabinet maker Charles-Honoré Lannuier who worked in New York City after coming to the USA in the early 1800s. The cabinet is antique, and dates to the latter part of the 1880s but was made long after Lannuier died. The cabinet has beautiful carved wooden figures and incredible wood quality of the walnut and just a magical aura about it. Sounds silly, but its true. The cabinet is incredible. The cabinet needs either wood or glass shelves made which we can do for you if requested. The cabinet is in very good condition and probably European but could be American. A stunner!
