An imposing Louis XVI style roll top desk in beautifully figured mahogany and having finely chased and gilded bronze mounts; the green marble top with a bronze gallery above three long drawers, the open roll top reveals a number fitted drawers above a leather topped sliding writing surface; the lower section with five drawers and additional side leather topped writing surfaces; the case sitting on eight tapered and fluted legs, French, circa 1880.
