A very good looking well-made and decorative piece, Liberty’s London was the first company to import these around 1870, they are highly collectable and very well made.
This one is of a style or design that I have never seen before, it looks to be based on an English library table that had twin display shelves, what most likely happened was a native craftsman had a piece of English furniture to hand and thought they would make the same thing but with traditional carving techniques
We have cleaned waxed and polished it all over, there will be normal patina marks.
