Pair of bronze lanterns; French; from around “Opera Garnier” in Paris. They were originally lit with gas. These were installed in the French capital by the architect Haussmann when Paris was completely re-conceived. They have been fully rewired to US standards. Plexiglas sheets surround the four candles cluster.
