This French 19th century Louis XVI-style seminar, or lingerie chest, circa 1880, is from France and features a white marble top with brass gallery over a bank of seven drawers, each with brass bail handles, all flanked by gilt-reeded sides. The whole chest is raised on turned and tapering notched legs with brass collars and brass toupie feet. This lingerie chest would be the perfect functional accent for any dressing space!
In a modern context is would be classed as a tall boy, because of the elegant nature of the piece it really can be used in any room
We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, there will be normal age related patina marks all-over
