This stunning set of 12 goblets from the renowned British glassmaker Stevens & Williams is beyond rare (a single example is on display at the Corning Museum of glass) circa 1880s-1890s, by Stevens & Williams, England. Made in their signature rock crystal, the curvilinear cutting and special details mark these glasses as masterworks; there are no modern equivalents. Delightful to the eye, these glasses are perfectly proportioned and well-balanced, a pleasure to behold and delightful to drink from. Excellent condition throughout.
Remarks: “There is nothing more extravagant than a table set with outstanding crystal. At the turn of the nineteenth century Tiffany sold only the best-cut crystal …goblets like these, which were their top of the line.”
