Victorian, Sheffield plated, footed, two bottle cruet set (consisting of the two bottles, stoppers and stand), Sheffield, England, circa 1878, William Hutton and Sons – makers. Stand measures: 10 1/8 inches high (to top of handle) x 8 1/2 inches wide x 3 inches deep at deepest point. Bottles measure: 6 1/2 inches high (to top of finial on corks) x 3 inches wide from edge of spout to far edge of handle. Each stopper is attached to the stand by a chain that loops through the oval handle. Beautifully made: Wire bottle holders are screwed (not soldered) into the base. Graceful design. Plating is in very good antique condition. Dark spots in photos are reflections. In very good antique condition.
