\n Table lamp with lady and flowers, karl hagenauer, werkstatte hagenauer vienna, circa 1930, brass cast and polished, marked werkstätte hagenauer had been crafting such delightful and charming scenes on everyday objects as early as the 1920s. This table lamp is well-documented in their sales catalog from 1928. At the 1925 paris world exposition, karl hagenauer represented the werkstätte hagenauer through the austrian werkbund, showcasing his designs. His lamp designs were awarded both silver and bronze medals. This figurine, with its strikingly simplified yet elegant features, epitomizes hagenauer’s aesthetic.
