\nA rare hand carved 19th century apothecary shop display figure. Of German origin this figure would likely have sat either on the shop counter or in the window of a pharmacy of sorts. Dressed in traditional period attire holding an oversized mortar and pestle. Hand carved from a single piece of oak displaying a wonderful, aged patina.
